Woree

Industrial and warehouse cleaning in Woree

Woree sits south of the CBD along the Bruce Highway, and most of its commercial premises are built for work rather than display: warehouses, trade suppliers, workshops, yards and the offices attached to them. We clean business premises here on a fixed written scope, around your shifts.

What we clean here

Built for a working site

An industrial site wears differently to an office, and the cleaning has to match. These are the three areas that decide whether a Woree site stays on top of it or slowly falls behind.

Warehouse and workshop floors

Floors here carry grit, oil, water and whatever comes off the yard on a forklift tyre. A mop moves that around; it does not remove it. We use a brush and solution matched to the surface, whether that is sealed concrete, vinyl or safety flooring, and we work the traffic lanes harder than the edges because that is where the wear actually is.

Amenities and crib rooms

Amenities take the heaviest use on any industrial site and they are the first thing an inspection looks at. Showers, toilets, the crib room and the fridge nobody wants to open. These need a documented standard rather than a quick wipe, and in the Cairns wet season they need more frequent attention, not the same amount.

Site offices and reception

Most Woree premises have an office at the front that customers and reps actually see, and it usually gets the least attention because the operational side is louder. Desks, glass, the floor inside the door, and the washroom shared with the yard. We handle it on the same visit, so it is one booking and one contractor on site.

Common questions

Cleaning a Woree industrial site

The questions we get most often from warehouse and trade premises south of the city.

Can you work around our shifts?

Yes. Industrial sites rarely run nine to five, so we build the schedule around when the floor is actually clear rather than around trading hours. Early mornings, evenings and weekends all work. If the site runs continuously, we clean zone by zone so nothing has to stop.

Do you handle inductions and site safety requirements?

Yes. If your site requires an induction, PPE or a sign-in process, we complete it before the first visit rather than turning up and negotiating at the gate. Our cleaners are police checked and the business carries $20 million public liability insurance, and the paperwork goes out with your quote if you ask for it.

What about the yard and external areas?

External hard surfaces, loading docks and bin areas can be included. They need different equipment to interior work, so they are usually scheduled less often than the inside but on a set cycle rather than when someone notices. We will tell you honestly if an area needs pressure washing rather than routine cleaning.

How often should an industrial site be cleaned?

Amenities need daily or near-daily attention on any site with a crew. Floors depend on traffic and what you handle, but most Woree premises land on two to five visits a week for amenities, with a deeper floor treatment on a longer cycle. The wet season usually pushes that up between November and April.

Can you take on just the amenities?

Yes, and it is a common starting point. Plenty of sites handle their own floors with staff and bring us in for the washrooms and crib room, where the standard matters most and nobody wants the job. We are happy to quote part of a site rather than insisting on all of it.

Is there a lock-in contract?

No. You get a written scope and a fixed price, and you can change it or stop it. We would rather keep the work by doing it properly than by holding you to a term. If something is not right, one call to the number on this page fixes it.
