Showroom and trade premises cleaning in Bungalow

Bungalow sits between the CBD and the industrial end of town, and its premises reflect that: wide glass showrooms fronting Mulgrave Road with a working warehouse behind them. The front and the back of these sites need very different cleaning on the same visit.

What we clean here

Two businesses in one building

A Bungalow site usually has a customer-facing half and a working half, and they wear at completely different rates.

Showroom glass and frontage

Mulgrave Road frontages are mostly glass, and they sit directly on one of the busiest roads in Cairns. Road film, diesel haze and dust build on that glass faster than almost anywhere else in town, and a dull frontage undercuts whatever is displayed behind it.

Display and sales floors

A showroom floor is a customer space carrying warehouse traffic, with stock moving across it and people walking it all day. It needs the finish of a retail floor on the maintenance cycle of an industrial one.

Trade counters and workshops

The working half of a Bungalow site generates the dust and grime that ends up out the front. Cleaning the showroom without touching the workshop behind it means cleaning the same thing again next week.

Common questions

Cleaning a showroom and a workshop together

Bungalow premises are two businesses under one roof. These questions follow from that.

How often does showroom glass need doing?

More often than most operators expect on Mulgrave Road. The traffic volume and the diesel film mean glass that looked clean on Monday reads as dull by Friday in the right light. Monthly is common for frontages, with the rest of the building on a longer cycle.

Can you clean before we open?

Yes, and for retail and showroom premises it is the standard arrangement. Early morning means the floor is dry and the glass is clear before the first customer walks in, and nobody is working around a cleaner during trade.

Do you cover both the showroom and the workshop?

Yes, and they should be quoted together. They are different jobs needing different products and different frequencies, but doing one without the other never holds. The dust simply migrates from the back of the building to the front.

What about staff amenities and the office?

Included as standard. Bungalow sites usually have a small office, a lunchroom and amenities tucked in behind the trade area, and those are the spaces your staff judge the whole arrangement on.

Do you work around stock and displays?

We clean around displays rather than moving them, unless you would rather we did. Stock arrangements are usually deliberate and it is not our place to rearrange them. Anything that does need shifting gets agreed at the walk through.

Is there a minimum size for a contract?

No. Bungalow runs from single tenancies through to large showrooms, and the roster is built to the site rather than to a minimum spend. A small tenancy on a fortnightly cycle is a perfectly reasonable arrangement.
